A Piece of Mind #1

< A piece of mind-1, 2019, 60.5x91cm, 50x65cm, 30x30cm, 30x30cm, Resin, Acrylic >

A Piece of Mind #1 is a work that expresses one’s feelings in a pictorial way. Like writing a diary, I drew the emotions that I felt daily and dismantled them into various pieces. Then reconstructed the screen using a special material called resin.

In this work, even though I can place various pieces at first, the pieces are placed and fixed in an unintended position the moment the resin is poured. This process is similar to the process of how my mind and heart moves. The large form of mass of mind is an entity representing myself.
